Nita Knapp bravely shares her story of how she spent years raising a family and then chose to overcome her fear of public speaking to start a brand new chapter in her life.
Nita is a small town Alberta girl with big blossoming dreams. Nita spent many years as the CEO of her home, thinking she was ‘just’ a Mom and wife taking care of her family. Then one day the kids grew up, left home and an odd feeling of emptiness was left behind. Nita embarked on a journey to find her self worth, confidence and found her way to becoming a Creative Mind Renewal Coach. Armed with her real-life experience and practical solutions, Nita walks her clients through their own circumstances to discover their dreams and purpose, no matter what stage of life they are at.
Nita didn’t take a breath for 28 years. She was just trying to keep her head above water.
What was the last time you took a breath? We like to fix everything.
What if we asked as parents: “What is possible?”
Her son said to her, “I just want to live but I also want to FEEL alive. Mom you need to be ok so I can focus my energy on being ok.”
We need to do whatever it takes for us the adults to be ok so we can be there to support our kids.
Nita Knapp has lived – and invested her ability to connect – in small rural communities all her life.
She grew up in Evansburg, Alberta – a community of 700 people and then “moved up in the world” to a community 1500 people when she moved at 17 to Mayerthorpe, Alberta.
In spring of 2021 I met Nita – and fell in love with her heart for people – as we both participated in a community for coaches that were learning to change the story in their minds and embracing new ways of creating connections and opportunities in their lives and businesses.
Now, in her work as a Mind Renewal Coach, Nita serves clients and kindly guides them to live in alignment with their unique purpose. It’s her passion to see women gain clarity on what is holding them back and start living their lives with purpose.
Nita’s goals this year are to create events, workshops, and talks that will resonate deeply with women globally.
She knows from experience, when women are ignited and in alignment with their purpose, they become alive in their uniqueness and this bright light is “sprinkled” on those around them.
But how do we “renew our minds”? In our conversation today Nita encourages us to become aware of our toxic thoughts, to tear about what’s not working, and reconstructing our mind with purpose.
